Terms & Conditions

Avios Wallet allows members to link their Iberia Plus and Vueling Club accounts. Once linked, Members will have a single total of Avios points that they can then redeem through Iberia and Vueling channels. 'Avios Wallet' is hosted by Avios Group (AGL) Limited. The following are the specific terms and conditions that apply to Avios Wallet. If there is any conflict between these terms and conditions and any clause within the Iberia Plus terms and conditions, then these terms and conditions will prevail if the term or condition relates to or regulates the operation of the 'Avios Wallet.'

  1. Members can link their Iberia Plus and Vueling Club accounts online at Iberia.com or Vueling.com.
  2. To link, the Member must be 18 years or over, have an active Iberia Plus and Vueling Club account (together referred as the “Programmes”) and the Member's account shall not be under audit on suspicion of non-compliance with Terms and Conditions of any of the Programmes. The accounts must be registered to the same individual under each of the Programmes. To link, the accounts must have matching first name, last name and either date of birth or email address (the “Matching Data”). Members must ensure both Programmes are holding accurate and up to date information
  3. Members can unlink their accounts at any time. However, they can only ever link with the same Iberia Plus or Vueling Club account.
  4. Avios points will be tracked and recorded individually under each of the Member's Iberia Plus or Vueling Club accounts. However, they will be visible as a combined balance.
  5. Elite Points are not impacted when a Member links their account, it is only the Avios points balance.
  6. When a redemption is made under one of the Programmes, the points will be taken from each of the Member's Avios balance in the Programmes accounts in proportion to the size of each Programme's balance.
  7. Once the Member has linked their Programmes' accounts through Avios Wallet, emails informing Members of their activity will be sent from both Programme's accounts. The Member will receive an email from each Programme to the registered email address to confirm they have linked your accounts. If the Member decides to unlink their Programmes' accounts, the Member will receive one further email from both Programmes' accounts informing them that the accounts have been successfully separated or unlinked.
  8. The Avios points balance of a Member's Programme account shall expire in accordance with the Iberia Plus programme terms and conditions, if a Member has not earned or redeemed Avios points or purchased or transferred Avios points in accordance with the Conditions of Use for thirty (36) consecutive months. Linking accounts via Avios Wallet counts as an activity that will extend the expiration points date, however unlinking accounts will not.
  9. In the event of any dispute as to the entitlement to the Avios points originally issued to a Member, the terms and conditions of the relevant Programme under which Avios points were issued shall apply.
  10. Members can link their accounts using Avios Wallet on iberia.com or vueling.com. Should you not satisfy the authentication checks, we (AGL) reserve the right to deny access to the Avios Wallet facility.
  11. By using Avios Wallet, the Member authorises that its Personal Data will be shared between the Programme Operators to fulfil and track the transactions and to subsequently audit the transaction if needed. The policy on data protection of each Programme and AGL Privacy Policy is available in the relevant terms and conditions.
  12. Only the Member may request to link their accounts using Avios Wallet. Members should not share Membership numbers and passwords to allow an unauthorised third party to use Avios Wallet. AGL will not be liable for any fraudulent use of Avios in the event of the Member allowing a third-party access to his or her account.
  13. Once the accounts have been linked, the total balance of Avios points will usually be shown against both accounts immediately and will usually be available for use immediately. However, occasionally transactions may take longer to show, and until shown, the Avios will not be available for use.
  14. In the event an Iberia Plus Member links their account, they will no longer be able to utilise their tier benefit of the loan balance. If a Member is already utilising their loan before linking, when such Member earns points via Vueling, these will not 'pay off' the Iberia loan debt.
